A:
- 升學:本校學生應屆畢業就讀碩士班,可享有免學雜費兩年之獎勵,成績優異者並有額外獎學金兩萬元。
- 就業:大學部歷年應屆畢業生畢業後高比例成為社會工作專業人員,應聘於公私社會福利與社會工作部門、醫院等。慈濟大學畢業生更有慈濟醫院與慈濟基金會等相關工作機會。
- 國家考試:本系應屆畢業生社工師證照考取率遠高於全國平均,有證照者薪資增加、就業機會更多。
除上述外本系與慈濟基金會合作,每年有三名公費生名額,大三起可享學雜費全免、每月領取生活津貼之待遇,畢業後可在慈濟基金會擔任專職社工師。
Q: What are the career choices for students?
A:
- Pursue advanced studies
Students of the Department choosing to study our master's program can receive many benefits. Their two-year tuition and fees will be waived, and they will receive scholarships of NT$20,000, if they have excellent academic performance. - Seek employment
- Many graduates choose to be social work professionals in the social welfare or social work departments of government agencies, healthcare institutions, NPOs, etc.
- Students may also select Tzu Chi Hospitals or Tzu Chi Foundation which offers many job opportunities to our students.
- Take licensure examinations and become professionals The passing rates of our students are much higher than the national averages. Those with professional licenses will enjoy higher salaries and have more job opportunities.
- Tzu Chi Foundation provides three scholarships to our students each year. From their junior year, recipients can waive their tuition and fees and receive monthly allowances. After graduation, students will work for Tzu Chi Foundation as social workers.
Q:海外交流?
A:大學部學生有以下幾個管道
- 選修本系開設課程:國際援助與慈善服務,老師會利用寒假時間帶領學生前往國外進行志願服務訓練。
- 海外姊妹校交換生計畫:甄選錄取後可前往各國姊妹校當交換生最長一年。
- 專業實習:申請前往海外社會工作機構實習,如家扶基金會海外據點。
Q: Can students go overseas to learn?
A:Undergraduate students have the following opportunities:
- Provide volunteer services overseas
Students taking specific courses offered by the Department may go overseas with their instructors to serve those in need during winter or summer breaks. - Be exchange students
After receiving approval, students can go to sister schools overseas to study for up to one year. - Receive internship training
Students may apply for internship training opportunities overseas. For example, they may request to go to overseas institutions set up by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families.
